HOW TO GET YOUR PHOTOGRAPH TO ME

I rarely come into contact with the original photo. Customers usually scan the image themselves and send them via email. If you've not got access to a scanner, you can send your photo to the address below and I can scan your image for you (don't worry, only the digital, high-resolution version will be re-worked), this is at an additional cost of £5 + postage and packaging to return the original print.

If you would like to scan your image in yourself, then please use the following guide:

​

Black & White original: Scan in as Grayscale

Colour original: Scan in as either RGB or CMYK

300 DPI: For finished print at the same size as the original

600 DPI: For finished print at x2 size as the original

Effects/Filters: None

​

Below are the recommended image dimensions in pixels, should your scanner offer this level of settings. Please note: the following figures allow for over scanning and borders within the original photographs. If there are any excessive non-photographic regions within your scan, ensure that you increase the pixel dimensions for optimal quality:

 

6 x 4” = 2250 x 1500 pixels

7 x 5″ = 2500 x 1786 pixels

8 x 6″ = 2600 x 1950 pixels

10 x 8″ = 3250 x 2600 pixels

If you send photos taken on iPhones, please be aware that image quality is lower than a standard image taken by a high-resolution camera.

*Helpful Hint*

 Most new iPhones have the ability to now shoot photos in RAW format, this contains more data and allows more flexibility during the editing process.

When editing is complete, your photos will be available for purchase at the determined editing cost via your personal, password-protected album in the website's Client Area. Once you've completed your purchase your unwatermarked image will be available to download, you will also receive a confirmation email of your order which includes a link to your downloads.

If you are unhappy with my provisional edit or you spot an imperfection/flaw that I have failed to notice, please let me know, I will be more than happy to revise the edit and send the revised digital image to you free of charge (Limited to 2 revisions).
